Set an openBSC with demo BTS

Hi, I'm trying to set an "OpenBSC network-in-the-box (NITB) mode" using a BTS demo/simulator, but couldn't find any good instructions guide for it. Any help will happily accepted. radio priority setting

Hello Can anybody suggest where its specified "Radio priority (PDP or SMS)" I can see radio priority setting in gprs_gmm.c but changing that is not working. also in gprs_gmm.c its mention radio_pri /* Radio priority 10.5.7.2 */ /* msgb_v_put(msg, pdp->lib->radio_pri) but under attach accept in gprs_gmm.c its aa->radio_prio = 3; are they same or typo any suggestion please RS

[PATCH 1/2] logging: Make it possible to print category/subsys and timestamps

how add multi-trx support to osmo-bts

Hello I know that OpenBSC support multi-trx BTS,but osmo-bts doesn't. So how i can enable this ability in osmo-bts? I see the source code and i think i should change some structures and add trx_id variable to them. but i don't know the correct way. can anyone help me?

Announcing new gr-gsm project

Dear all, Sorry for spamming here but I thought there is possibility that you might be interested. I was working for some time on a project of a set of GNU Radio tools for receiving GSM transmissions. As the project reached the point where it might be useful for the community I have decided to officially announce it. It is available on github with short installation and usage guides: https://github.com/ptrkrysik Currently there is one gr-gsm application that should work out of the box and it is a more reliable replacement of Airprobe. The gr-gsm has some similarities with it. The GSM receiver that I used is considerably corrected version of the receiver that I've long time ago written for the Airprobe project but with removed Airprobe's stuff that shouldn't be in my opinion mixed with the receiver (like decryption, decoding). However the goal of the project is broader than that and it is to provide a set of tools for people interested in processing of GSM signal in GNU Radio. For example - another possible applications of gr-gsm are GSM network monitor or frequency offset calibrator. Problems with token mode

Hi, It's me again :) We deployed the first installation with token mode, and we're running into a quite nasty issue: osmo-nitb does its job for a while, but then it goes to 100% cpu and it has to be killed. This doesn't happen in the lab, obviously, but it's happening in a village of about 10.000 people. Any clue? past experiences? Thanks! Ciaby

Using the new hook the BSC/NITB can check if the config is consistent and prevent the config file being written.
