The Abis interface is not designed by 3GPP to be an interoperable interface, so the answer is likely no, at least unless the BSC vendor explicitly would support osmo-bts.

In contrast to that, AoIP is standardized. So you can interoperate your osmo-bts-trx + osmo-bsc against antoher MSC that's not osmo-msc. Note that this usually requiers in-depth understanding of SIGTRAN as there are many configuration parameters to take into consideration.

osmo-bts + osmo-bsc has been connected to MSCs of various vendors such as Ericsson or Huawei.
