Well, it is unlikely that it ignores the content. It is more likely that you are not using the database you think you are using.
type bsc_hack and find the option to specify the path to the database, do a ls -la /proc/`pidof bsc_gack/fd to see which database was opened.
All fixed, problem was extension of .sqlite instead of .sqlite3.
