Hi guys, any idea why I am getting one-way audio between mobiles on the same bts? I have tried it with both proxy RTP on and off. Not sure what is going on?

please be more verbose and more precise. What does one way mean? Record a packet dump and look if audio packets go in both ways? Is the rtp payload the proper one? How does the output look like? If you have old firmware on your nanoBTS you might need an extra patch. One thread started on the 25th of February.

The calling subscriber can hear the called party but the called party cannot hear the calling party. The firmware onboard is almost certainly old (it shows a build date of 2006 on the HTTP interface).
I will look into doing the packet dumps for you but if there is a setting I have missed please let me know.

Yes, I have a copy of the ip.access nanoBTS installer software for windows. You simply enable it in the NVRAM settings.

Yes, if you reverse roles of the handsets it stays the same i.e. the called party can never here the caller.
Post a full debug log on pastbin.ca or similar.

Also on the SMS front I get this error:
<0007> gsm_04_11.c:784 234180000035836: RX SMS RP-ERROR, cause 1:22 ((MT) Memory Exceeded)
One mobile is an iPhone with unlimited handset SMS memory (well 16GB anyway) and the other has 2 texts stored on the entire phone.

I enabled it but it apperently needs a client HTTP SSL certificate. Can you set it as well with the intaller software ?
For you issue:
- what's you sw version exactly ?
- if you reverse the role of caller / callee, does it reverse who can
hear who ? (to know if it's a direction problem or a handset problem)
