Yes, this also is my idea, but configuration of this is somehow difficult, and I do not
get clear, reliable results from changing the parameters.
I have noticed that you're not a "Ranger" anymore; hopefully your broad
knowledge is still available for the GSM world :)

I realize this is off topic, but if you have such severe range differences between CS and
PS performance, it is probably a GPRS uplink power control configuration problem.
