right. Hmm. I think my main point after all is that I don't trust the script that generates ranap_ies_defs.h and I feel more warm+fuzzy when the generated result is available in the repo :P
It *is* nice to track changes in the generated codes, isn't it? But I guess you're right.
your call. I didn't know the history of ranap_ies_defs.h but I had a parallel make issue as well. Feel free to revert that hunk and add a comment in the Makefile so we don't remove it again?
