are you sure port 9418 (tcp) is allowed for outbound
connections?
Funny, while I was bringing my kids to school in the morning, suddenly
it came up in my mind that our company's firewall blocks almost all
ports to the outside world, except port 80 and a few others. I totally
forgot that, sorry :)
