So you're saying you're no longer doing that and going with opening separate VTY telnets instead?

I think it might be nice to have a default VTY logging storable in the config as we do for stderr.

There's an interesting feature request. Maybe easier would be a vty command to adopt in the current telnet the logging config from stderr (or any other log target).

Otherwise, I'm kind of OK with using expect to setup what I want.

What's "using expect"?
