According to OpenBSC wiki: "How many dBm is the nominal power of this BTS. This setting is only used as a base for computing power levels displayed to the user. " So this one is just to calculate the powervalue to be displayed for you, so I assume it does nothing more than that.
But how do you test by the way?
It's difficult to explain, but I just want to restrict (or enlarge) the field in which is my BaseStation to find.
Is it possible?
