Hi list,
I'm an information engineering student interested in working on embedded systems and tlc (especially I would like to get deep into firmware coding and dsp). In the last years I have been an active member of the italian openmoko community so I'm familiar with gta0X phones (I owned a gta02, now I have only a gta01). Two years ago I've worked at the Trento's research center on the n900 while today I'm working at a tlc company in Padua. Even if it's not what I'm working on at the moment, I'd like to spend some of my time by working on the GSMTAP integration of the Sagem OT-290. Is there any news about that? Since the last message on this thread was posted more than 2 months ago I wanted to know whether anyone was already working on it.
Thanks, Thomas Bertani

Maybe you would also be interested in helping us with the nuttx port on osmocom-bb compatible phones? (the goal is to get an usable phone that would work without the help of a computer, but recently it seem to progress very slowly...).

Since There was someone else(Tyson Key) than me willing to do the work, I declined in favor of the other person(because I'm rather busy and he really wanted to do it). But it seem that he didn't get the phone at the end... So I'll decline again, specially if you start working on it now...
Denis.

Yes, I am interested in contributing to the nuttx port too, but at the moment I'd like to start by working on this sagem-gsmtap project.

Ok, so I can start to work on it as soon as I get the needed hardware.

Hi list,
just a quick update on what is going on here. I received the Sagem OT-290 and started working on it a couple of weeks ago. At the moment I got it working for every layer message except for gprs rlc/mac header ones, I will work to support them asap. The git repo with the updated source code is available here: http://cgit.osmocom.org/cgit/ot290-gsmtap/
Any feedback is highly appreciated!
