Hi Prom!

I've now merged (a rebased version of) your prom/pending, including the manifest part.

Only one minor issue that I've noticed: 'make clean' does not remove the board/*/*.manifest.o files. Maybe you can fix that at some point.

Also, I think it would be better to only export a 'struct manifest' that then has members for all the various parameters (so far only strings with versions, but there might be more stuff in the future).
