Hi Harald,
When it comes to the Developer Meeting, something very formal like GOOG I/O
most probably immediately comes to minds. Or rather, in the Meeting there
should be many folks to attend, different topics with presentations to share
and discuss, as well as achievements in the current phase to demonstrate.
Therefore, there are the folks interested in the current project like me to
desire to take part in the meeting simultaneously even if located in the
different places of the world.
As a matter of fact, that's just a misunderstanding between one another, (I
see) because this is only an informal and local meet-up for those developers
behind the project.
Finally, hope that you guys will have a good time with the Developer
Meeting. :)
Thanks.
Best Regards,
Samuel

That's a bright idea for all the developers

those observers around the project to make a brainstorm with the
development

It's a little pity, however, for those people not going to participate
directly in the Developer Meeting at CCC near Berlin. If setting up a
"green
pathway" connecting to the live meeting on
the internet, so the people
strongly wanna share their ideas with others will be able to join into
the
Developer Meeting simultaneously.
If there has difficulty in doing such things, maybe recording and
uploading
the live video of the meeting into the public
wiki of the project is
another
way to share the content and fun of the meeting
together with other
people
all around the world.
All we are doing is sitting together and chatting about what each of us
(most likely no more than 3 or 4 people) have been doing, where we might
have been stuck, and what we intend to do next.
There is no formal meeting schedule, there is no presentation, there is
no preparation of this meeting. Just sitting together and chatting in
an informal way.
So I really don't see the point of recording or broadcasting any of
this.
Regards,
Harald
