Thats true, but i for myself hope that one day the layer23 code is
moved into the phone. At that time i would really like to have a
tested, accepted in short usable UI on th osmocomBB compal phones.
I second this! Now that I know just how vulnerable cell phones are to all
sorts of tricks, I very much would like to be toting around a phone with
completely open firmware, and as soon as possible!
I'm not much help on the GSM stack, but maybe I can give some time over to
helping on this.
