Hi, i already tried this with an half charged nokia battery and the phone doesnt bootup. i only used the bare circuit board without the housing. is there a switch to chek if the case is closed and the phone only works when the case is closed? maybe i have to try it with a fully charged battery.
Maybe it's like the nokia 3310: http://www.embedtronics.com/nokia/fbus.html Read the section: "Nokia 3310 Battery connections"
I don't have a Phone here, so i can just guess.
what is the voltage and oinout of the charger? i guess 5v DC and + in the middle?

Can someone told me pinout of the battery Connector so that I can connect a nokia battery?
Or can I use a 5v power supply and connect it to the charger port and the phone boots without a main battery?
If you open the battery compartment, you see the connector on the bottom, starting from left:
- / TEMP / + (SIM Connector)
Just attaching a charger doesn't work. But you can can basically attach any charged 3.7 Volts LiIon/LiPo battery, the pin between - and + isn't needed for operation (charging excluded).
