Hi all, from what i learned, osmocombb provide gsm protocol stack and dsp signal process code. So why need to use Ti Calypso/Iota/Rita. Is it possible to run on other common arm7+dsp chipset?

All the DSP code, as well as all the dirty details about timing / rf path configuration / dsp stuff is completely calypso specific. If you wanted to support another one, it's possible. But you'd have to write the equivalent of all the "target" code for your target and it would talk to the l23 stuff using our l1ctl protocol. Sylvain
