Try flashing the latest firmware to UmTRX. The latest stable firmware is always available at: http://people.osmocom.org/ipse/umtrx-v2/current/

Ethernet flashing procedure is described here. You should flash "production firmware" of the UmTRX. Do not flash the "safe firmware", as it may be dangerous: https://code.google.com/p/umtrx/wiki/FlashingUmTRX
