All,
I am 99% certain this is a problem with the USB 2.0 to 10/100/1000 Gigabit
Ethernet LAN Wired Network Adapter I added to my OpenBTS server to solve
another issue. Having looked through the source code and compared good and
bad wireshark traces I can find no difference or bug in the ARP handling.
Hence, time to move on and build up a new dedicated server for OpenBTS
based on Ubuntu 12.04.
Regards
Craig

Yes, subnet and gateway EEPROM settings were
introduced in UHD
mainline after we forked our version of UHD. We didn't bother merging
those changes as we never needed them.

Hi Alexander,
I only changed the IP since I do not think changing the mask using the
following commands is supported:
./usrp_burn_mb_eeprom --args="addr=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" --key=subnet
--val=255.255.255.0
./usrp_burn_mb_eeprom --args="addr=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" --key=gateway
--val=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
I'm doing some more tracing soon.

Craig
