Hello,
We have simtrace v2. When we connect the device through USB to a laptop it does not respond. None of the lights turn on. It does not respond to any commands. ./simtrace2-lists shows Device = 0.
Can you give us some suggestions on how to use the device and if this is the normal behavior?
Thank you for your time.
Hi,
I experienced the same problem and Kevin Redon solved it. As per his words "The only cause I could find is an accidental short between the ERASE and nearby 3.3V pin (on top of the board)." And he was right. He documented the solution: 1st reflash the DFU bootloader https://osmocom.org/projects/simtrace2/wiki/Flashing#SAM-BA
2nd flash the application firmware https://osmocom.org/projects/simtrace2/wiki/Flashing#DFU
I hope this helps, Diego.
