the repository to my system but con’t find any instructions for how to get the binaries or
the Wireshark plugin to use the SimTrace2 hardware. Please can you point me to the right
page with full installation instructions?
You can simply install the package using 'apt-get install simtrace2-utils'.
Wireshark doesn't need any plug-in, the dissector for basic SIM support
was merged upstream many years ago.
Once you have installed the package, commands like simtrace2-list and
simtrace2-sniff should be available.

Harald
