We use SIMTRACE with 2FF/3FF/4FF (sim/nano/micro) sim cards. It is just a matter of having flex pcb for all the form factors. You can find them at the sysmoshop. Have a look at the attachment.

there are nano (4FF) sized fpc adapters available, see the design files at http://git.osmocom.org/simtrace/tree/hardware/nano-UICC

Nobody can give you guarantees that they will fit mechanically with any given phone. You may need to perform mechanical modifications to sim card drawers/holders to fit the FPC.
