Hi Katharina,
Joachim (Cc) was able to reproduce non-working cardem in current master, and we're trying to fix it ASAP.
If you feel adventurous, feel free to give the firmware of "laforge/cardem2" branch of simtrace2.git a try, and if that fails, fall back to "laforge/cardem1".
