PS2: Sporadic failure due to crazy delays can be seen more clearly in ttcn3-bsc-test-latest run #2674 TC_mscpool_L3Compl_on_1_msc. See how CTRL GET msg is sent over IPA_CTRL_PORT and it takes >2s for the component to read from IPA_CTRL_PORT (and hence timeout waiting for answer fails, because it didn't even get time to transmit the request...):
