I am also observing this behavior with xterm v370.

i remember tmux doing this weird jumping to the bottom very occasionally

Also experiencing this weird jumping since I migrated from ancient Ubintu to Arch. Looks like this is a regression in the new tmux? I couldn't really correlate this behavior to any events like new logging or buttons pressed. It just happens for no reason.
