but we will always need support for both methods if we want to stay compatible.
Not really, just a few years 😊
But we can at least know 99% of the users will be using up to date packages using a well known path instead of having to maintain 2 messages forever.
The sooner we deprecate one, the sooner we'll be able to drop it.
