PS2: a word on that change to IUFP seen in the log output: i've taken a very close look at that in the meantime. So far we feed IUFP (IuUP) through the MGW from UTRAN to CN. At some point, to also support 3G <-> 2G calls, I will be changing this to always decapsulate IuUP to plain RTP. Until then, for all UTRAN call processing we want to see 3GPP.VND.IUFP in the MGCP.
The old code first sent AMR as codec towards the CN side MGW endpoint, and a special case for UTRAN changed that to IUFP.
