I need this patch merged in order to have libosmocore compile on my Archlinux system....
Debian has meanwhile updated its unstable package to include the fix: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1080419 - maybe you should ping the arch linux maintainer of liburing, to get that fixed, too?
