Isn't NACK being received from old versions going to tear down the whole provisioning for the BTS?

Fortunately, no. I was afraid of this, but then I checked the code and figured out that not all NACK messages trigger dropping of the OML link. I did some tests and the only side effect with old osmo-bts versions would be an error message telling that the BTS NACKed the attribute request.
