At the moment we create the connection facing towards the HnodeB in loopback mode. This means that the HnodeB speaks to itsself for a while and so it also does some IuUP handshaking with itsself. Then the connection is switeched in send/receive mode and everything is fine. I have removed this and tried with your patch, but then it did not work. I guess this is expected and the hack is still needed.
