any specific reason you chose the compressed form, rather than the uncompressed form?
According to RFC5480 Section 2.2:
Implementations of Elliptic Curve Cryptography
according to this
document MUST support the uncompressed form and MAY support the
compressed form of the ECC public key.
So I would have assumed using the uncompressed form maximizes
compatibility/interoperability?
