Now the yet unanswered question: Why is this needed here now?
it is needed for a new builder, which isn't a rpi: https://osmocom.org/issues/5873
the rpis have $(arch) = armv7l, and there the error does not happen (because of the way the boost autotools stuff works, I assume)
