Thanks for the response. I did something similar.
I don't have the code in front of me, (and the project where I used
openggsn is not very active at the moment), but I think the result of
these configure tests are unused. If tun.c never checks HAVE_NET_IF_H,
the corresponding configure test could be deleted.
