Nice writeup! Going at the shielding with a Dremel is a bit rough for my taste. I might have tried to use something like Chip Quik to desolder it. http://www.chipquikinc.com/ I don't have experience with the product, but it looks like a good sensible method and the videos I've seen look fine. //Peter
