It's now $HOME/.osmocom/bb/{mobile.cfg,xxxx.ba} in the master branch.

p.s.: Eventually, I would like to see this become part of libosmocore, i.e.
having a global data structure or a function how to obtain the application
specific .osmocom - subdirectory for a given program.
