Dear Osmocom community,
it hurts me to make this statement, but unfortunately I have to cancel my OsmoDevCon 2020 participation in April. The borders are closing due to COVID-19, even between my home country and Russian Federation. I have been looking forward to see you all, but this time I won't make it.
I've seen some ideas in the IRC about making it online, but it would not make much sense (at least to me) since we all work online anyway. Meeting face-to-face is what makes the event so nice.
I know that most participants are EU/Berlin based, and the event can still be held. But would it be possible to reschedule it at a later date? Maybe in summer or autumn the situation would get better? I will keep my flight reservation until the end of March, so it would be possible to change the dates.

I also wrote to Harald commenting I'll not be able to travel from Brazil to Germany with this crisis. Let us know any new developments with regards to OsmoDevCon happening.

It is pain for everyone. Nobody in our generation in most countries has gone through anything like this.
After some delay in Mexico (possibly due to the "cry-wolf" aspect of the previous two (aviar, swine) that shut down Mexico City causing great suffering to many, I think there's a general acceptance that there is no place for pandemic skepticism this time.

In many places, as you well know, gatherings of even more than 3 people are being discouraged/prohibited.
We will all be extremely happy of course if the current measures work and this goes away like swine flu did, but the possibility of not even being able to have the event in Berlin in April due to lockdown should be considered?

That would also be nice, - Autumn sounds good!
I already figured I can't attend in April due to being far away and on the road for work, (not to mention now currently actually ensure if I might get "locked"-down were I am)
