If I have read the datasheets correctly, the E4000 is also able to use a non-zero IF. Would doing this help reduce the spike in the middle of the spectrum for sticks using the E4000?

Here's a question for windows users.... Why do I not see a notable spike in the middle of the spectrum spike in the SDR Sharp application, but a very strong one in the HDSDR application using same the same USB dongle? This strikes me as odd. Christian
