Support for binary SMS (GSM 03.48)

Hi all, ¿Is it possible to use the OpenBSC system to send binary SMS? If yes how? and if not could you please point me on how to start the development? I know using the monitor app with the motorola phone is possible to send sms and make calls. Now I want to send binary SMS (03.48). TA. Jorge
