Hi Holger,
While im still trying this im trying to understand the interface between
OpenBSC and LCR.
Throughout the process there is no change to be done on the OpenBSC what so
ever in order to make all MO calls to be go out on LCR and all calls from
LCR to go into MT.
Only the LCR is to be configured with a knowledge of BSC and asterisk.
Can you give me a little hint on how openbsc would know about LCR and route
all calls to the LCR in the presence of it. or is there any kind of socket
application from LCR which opens up some thing on BSC which result calls
been flow out from it.
Sorry if im asking too much. Im just trying to see whether i can get done
my own interface out from the BSC.
Many many thanks for your feedback.
Rgds

Thanks Holger, will give it another try.
Would you be please kind enough to let me know whether it should work in
below topology.
[MS]---[nanoBTS]----[OpenBSC NITB]---(ip)---[LCR]---(ip)---
[Asterisk]----(sip)--->
or would it need any E1/ISDN cards in between.
Thanks again.

Hi Holger,
But so far i have failed to get this no.1 done using LCR/asterisk
option. So
pretty much given up with that.
:)
Hi Nik,
we were using nitb/LCR for 27C3/28C3/Camp2012, I have also used
LCR/Asterisk
very recently for SIP callout. I think you should spend some more time to
try
to understand why it is failing for you.
