I agree with Sylvain.
If Holger, Harald and others are very busy with the sources, at least
Sylvain can improve the wiki guidance to help people having an easier start.

Where would you expect such a note? On the
website? Just in a readme?
I'd say both. It's a pretty quick fix that can help a few people. And
you already fixed the wiki :) Or in the readme just a link to the wiki
with a generic 'Getting started' (generic and not bs-11 or nanoBTS
specific), with a little more guidance, config files and such. I'd be
happy to write those if I could edit the wiki.
If I had read the 'BS 11 getting started I would have seen it' but I
only saw the OpenBSC + LCR guide and the nanoBTS getting started.
