I'll have one or two kids with me this time but I'm planning to be available
for GSM/UMTS.

Hmm, the room costs extra, eh. It is nice to have a base to go back to, to
leave stuff and meet, but it also tends to be secluded from the congress. I
guess I'd "camp" with the coffee nerds if we won't have a dedicated room.

But It's hard to say without knowing the new venue. Will it be humungous halls
with deafening noise, and having a GSM room would be the only refuge from the
madness?

How expensive is "quite high"? Are we paying ourselves, or are we straining the
budget of the congress at large? I mean, if it's not astronomic, I could well
afford to forge out some bucks for a room...

Don't forget Kévin :)
