It's needed on the remsim-client side.
I am also seeing that I am running a fairly old version
of libosmocore, circa 2022-09-19. Perhaps I should update.
This might be a good idea. I do believe there were other simtrace/cardem related fixes
since 2022. If you prefer using tagged/stable versions, take the last release and apply
the patch on it.
