Why aren't you picking a newer osmo-msc patch in previous commit instead which already contains this […]

Because I had to do a lot of work on this branch and when I was done, osmo-msc took more commits in the mean time. Also creating the synchronisation commit takes quite some time, so I like to prevent doing it over again.
