PS1: note that this is likely non-standard behaviour. Section 10.4 of TS 25.468 specifies that only an appropriat error indication shall be sent in case of such logical errors.

That doesn't mean I'm fundamentally opposed to this change; I just wanted to make sure we all understand that we intentionally deviate from the spec here. Maybe it should be a configurable option whether to just send the appropriate error indication or send an error + disconnect?
