Andrew Reusch areusch at gmail.comI just got my setup working a few days ago. One issue for me was that asterisk needed to be informed about the IMSI; if asterisk rejects a login of user IMSI###########, OpenBTS will send a location update reject. You might try checking your asterisk logs...
