If I remember correctly, Harald has already had an actual LTE cell running
using nextepc with Osmocom, but I'll rather not mention any details since my
memory of that factoid is rather dim.

So far the focus at Osmocom is mostly on 2G, but as soon as funding and/or
development show up, LTE is definitely something that Osmocom at large would be
interested in; we expect interest in LTE+2G pairing to increase continuously.

Unfortunately that's all I can say with certainty, so far been dug deep into 2G
and 3G, only. Maybe others can add to this?
