output attached. I will not spend further time on speculating about
things if it is so easy to look at hard evidence instead.
If the phone performs successful routing area attach, it is "connected".
The next step is the PDP context activation. If you see not even an
attempt of that, it is most likely your phone that is lacking proper APN
configuration.
