Hi Miguel,
maybe my english is too bad to understand :)
The problem with the radios is not the usability or the range.
The problem is that in germany the 2m Licence is for so called BOS (Police,
Firefighters ect.)
and that what we do, using the radios for a youthfirefighter event is a
grey area in law. 

(Was ich meine ist das man die dinger eigentlich nur in einsatzfall oder zu
übungszwecken verwenden soll.)

Actual not every youth-advisor got one of these radios.
