I think this makes a lot of sense. In addition to that, when passing
the GSM formwat frame up to the application, we should also send some kind
of "format identifier"

I am currently once again travelling (after arriving back in Berlin yesterday),
and I'll return wednesday next week. I think on Thursday I'll be able to send
the nanoBTS to you.
If you have any difficulties configuring the nanoBTS or getting it to work
with OpenBSC, please simply post to this mailinglist, Dieter, Holger and others
have done this before and are able to help just as much as I might be.
