Have a listen yourself: http://allstar.kd7lxl.hamwan.net:8000/ It's monitoring two talkgroups, so if it seems like it's cutting between two conversations that is why. Compared to my Uniden scanner there is a lot lower latency at the beginning of each transmission (the Uniden will miss the beginning of the transmission). Hardware is - 1090 MHz ADS-B antenna at about 20 ft. - SMA tee (other side goes to the ADS-B receiver). This messes up the impedance, but not really a big deal for receive. - NooElec RTL-SDR with TCXO https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HA642SW/ - Intel NUC DN2820FYKH with Intel Celeron N2820 (I know I said I started with a VM, but I transitioned to the Nuc for permanent installation.) Biggest outstanding issue I want to correct is audio level equalization / compression. The dispatch consoles seem to a lot hotter than most of the subscriber radios. I have not been able to get LADSPA dysonCompress to work. Tom -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
