Abdul Hakeem alhakeem100 at hotmail.comGSM/UMTS phones with UMA client can use WiFi to communicate with the MSC/HLR elements in the network. The client just needs an IP connectivity to the GAN controller. So the requirement for the traditional gsm Um interface is void in this scenario.
