Hi,

I think Vadim did a pretty good explanation and I think we agree on most 
points here. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
As far as I understand, my patchset implements the points Vadim 
suggested at the end of his last e-mail.

And answering gerrit's comment from Harald: "Do we really have no more 
pressing needs than re-desinging/defining how the log configuration works?"

I want to state again that my patchset is aiming at fixing something 
broken without trying to redefine or completely redesign the logging 
system, because indeed I didn't want to spend much time in this, only a 
few hours required to fix the issue and make it usable, because I'm 
always losing time and not trusting the logging system due to this 
broken behavior. I'm the first one not willing to invest lots of hours 
into this, just get something good enough that works fine.
